Hello all!!! I'm Karen Bates-Ashley, a licensed hairstylist & certified makeup artist. I'm also a hair extension master stylist. I have been licensed since 1995, but have been styling hair since I was 8yrs old!!! Hmm do the math, that is an astonishing grand total of 29 years in this industry!!! And I still LOVE it!!!

I've been blessed to have worked with a few celebrities along the way...as well as a host of beautiful models & talented photographers from all over So Cal.

I provide beautiful and flawless makeup & HD airbrush in every makeup genre...And later on I'll be offering body painting!!!I can create any hairstyle, avant garde, pinup, Afrocentric, glamour, fashion, I mean ANYTHING!!! So let your imagination run wild with me.

My hair extensions work has been previously published in Playboy casting, Hollywood Poker Calendar, & Benchwarmers. And most recently, my hair & makeup artistry has been in Cotton Candy Pin Up Girls Book, eGirls News, Girls2ComeHome2 Pinup Calendar for the Troops & IDEA Magazine, which is sold all over Asia!!!

I am a very funny, yet professional artist!!! I believe in going after your dreams & reaching your goals. When I come to the set, you are guaranteed to achieve your concept and laugh until your tummy hurts hehe...I truly enjoy what I do, it is my passion!!!
